UNIVERSAL TRANSPORT MEDIUM LIGHTGENE
FOR UROGENITAL MATERIAL

Designed for the transportation and storage of urogenital material samples for use with smear preparation devices using the liquid cytology methods HURO PATH® LBC and S Slide Processor.

It contains a clear colorless buffer solution that includes a detergent, preservative, and stabilizer.

The detergent facilitates effective washing from the probe and mixing of clinical material with the transport medium, the preservative prevents the proliferation of microflora, and the buffer solution prevents premature cell lysis and, together with the stabilizer, ensures cell stability during the storage and transportation of samples.
